Insulated
Storage Buildings
Our temporary portable and modular buildings come in
varying degrees of insulation depending on the goods to be
stored, duration of use and people using the building. For
example, modular and portable buildings being used to simply
protect goods from the elements won’t require any
insulation.
Modular and portable buildings will need
insulation if the goods or equipment need to be kept
completely dry and in a temperature controlled environment.
Similarly, temporary buildings that are to be used by a
workforce or the public, such as a shop or classroom, will
need heating and therefore need to be insulated and
air-tight to meet the Government’s new energy efficiency
standards.
Key features of our insulated metal
storage buildings and modular buildings: -
The specially designed thermo roof system consists of two plastic coated membranes. Using an air pump the roofs are inflated under atmospheric pressure to create an air filled cushion. The end result is that this system eliminates condensation.
- The insulated foam sandwich panels are 40mm thick. The
standard colour is grey / white with other colours available
on request. The walls are inserted horizontally.
- A polymer composite walling system with reinforced steel inserts providing additional security for the metal storage buildings.
- The advantages of this system are, condensation is eliminated, reduced heating costs and a quiet working environment.
